OMG I AM SO HAPPY!! this weekend has been amazing. We have this addition to our house that became our family room, but along with the addition there was a new section to the basement that my dad turned into what my mom calls a "Testosterone Room". Plasma screen tv, surround sound, leather furniture, pool table, alcohol related neon signs, pictures from fishing trips, etc. Now my dad is kinda... gone... not for good but he loves going down to costa rica for months on end, but this time he brought his boat, his leather furniture from downstairs, the refrigerator that was down there too, and his truck. So my mom and i kinda took it and turned it into a activity/family room, I fixed the sound system, and the HDTV, and the DVD player.

Thats not the best part, i've been noticing that my passion for drawing is always distracted by the computer, since my drawing space is my bed, i can't stay focused. So i took an old desk from the old basement and put it in the room and a bulletin board that was behind my door and set up a drawing space for myself. the problem was that the desk was missing like 3 drawers from it, there was one right next to it filled with tools, and then another was in a shed in our back yard, the last one is still missing. I figured i'd go look in this room upstairs that all our junk just kinda ends up in, and i find a trash bag of stuff from my room. I found my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE movie in it "Dragon Heart" i also found GTA:VC, a set of graphite pencils that have different densities for different shades, and a cord... that belongs to my old scanner. for the past 24 hours i've been flipping out looking for the other cord for it AND I FINALLY FOUND IT! So I'm going to be scanning a lot of pictures today.

Finding the scanner cord couldn't happen at a better time, because i've been talking to about making a comic, after being inspired by comic. So now i can draw a page, and immediately scan in into the computer and get it up, but dont expect anything soon, i still need a story line, i just have an idea right now Also i'm going to school... not that i do anything at home about it, but i don't have all day every day to draw like i use to... even though i really wish i did :S
